Colby is a combat veteran and was deployed all over the world with his Special Forces team, which included South America (Colombia/Paraguay). Colby also traveled to Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Iraq for government business. Colby’s duties as a Green Beret liaison with the U.S. Congress involved taking members of Congress and professionals to see and understand sensitive special operation activities around the globe.
Colby worked on Capitol Hill, primarily the U.S. Senate and Pentagon. He managed the congressional portfolio of the U.S. Military’s #2 in Command.
He was also an adjunct professor at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management. Colby was a program manager in Silicon Valley’s tech industry. He then moved to Southern Utah to become the Director at the Atwood Innovation Plaza. In addition to Colby’s daily responsibilities, Google recognized him as a trainer and speaker, sending him around the world (New York City, London and Singapore) to train other managers on leadership and team building. Colby’s material brings a unique dynamic perspective on leading and building teams in the high demand technology arenas of the world.
